Experts are working on the Agreement of the ZLECAF Trade Convention

 

Experts from the Ministries in charge of Trade in Congo Brazzaville and those of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) examined from September 1 to 2, 2020, in Brazzaville, in one of the rooms of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the draft Agreement African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLECAF). This meeting took place in two phases; the first consisted in reading and analysising the texts by the part of the Democratic Republic of Congo for a whole day in order to absorb the proposals of laws emanating from the two Ministers in charge of Trade of the two countries. The second phase consisted of a discussion between experts to approve the texts and submit them to both governments for approval. It should be noted that the meeting of experts follows the joint meeting between the Minister of State, Minister of Trade, Supply and Consumption, Alphonse Claude N’SILOU and his counterpart from the DRC, Jean Lucien Busa.
